Mission Statement 

Who We Are

The We Are Here Foundation is a IRS registered 501 C3 Non-profit lake, river, cleanup and youth education group.  We have cleaned Lake St. Clair for over 25 Years and donated over 50 truckloads of office, and student furniture to needy SE Michigan school districts.  Our programs are funded with donated boats and cars. 

We have removed over 10,200,000 pounds of debris from the Clinton River, Lake St. Clair and Gull Island over the past past 26 years.  We also have provided needy school districts in Southeastern Michigan with over $1,500,000 of new and gently used office furniture along with student desks.  We recently help renovate an unused elementary school in St. Clair Shores into a fully functional non-profit center.
